How to Sign a Vehicle Title in New Hampshire: Step-by-Step Guide

Before filling out any information on the title, carefully read these instructions, locate all the appropriate lines, and review any instructions on the title.

On the line that says "Buyer(s)," print the name of the person buying the vehicle. Note that if two people are buying it, both of their names should go on that line.

On the next line, print the buyer's full address.

Under that is a short line where you can write in the vehicle's current odometer reading. In the next line of text is a line for you to write in the date of the odometer reading.

On the next blank line, the seller should sign their name. Right next to that is a line where the seller can print their name.

If a second person owes the vehicle, they can sign and print their name on the next set of lines.

Under these lines is another set of lines where the buyer(s) can sign and print their name(s). Again, if two people are buying the vehicle, both of them need to get their information on these lines.
