How to Sign a Vehicle Title in Mississippi: Step-by-Step Guide
Before filling out any information on the title, carefully read these instructions and locate all the appropriate lines.
Turn to the back of your Mississippi car title and look near the top.
Under the words "Assignment of title by registered owner," print the buyer's name and full address on the appropriate lines.
On the next line, write in the vehicle's current mileage.
On the next line, the seller(s) should sign their name(s). Note that if the car is owned by two people, both of those people must fit their signatures on this line. On the line next to that, the seller(s) should print their name(s). On the line next to that, the seller should print the date the vehicle was sold.
On the next line, the buyer(s) should sign their name(s). Again, if there are two buyers, both people need to fit their signatures on that line. On the line next to that, the buyer(s) should print their name(s).
