How to Sign a Vehicle Title in Minnesota: Step-by-Step Guide
Before filling out any information on the title, carefully read these instructions and locate all the appropriate sections.
This information can be found on the front of your Minnesota title on the bottom half of the page.
Under the words "Odometer disclosure statement," print the vehicle's current mileage.
In the line labeled "Seller's printed name," the seller should print their name. If two people currently own the car and are selling it, both of them need to fit their names on this line. Right next to this line is a line where the buyer(s) should print their name(s).
Look for the line that says "Seller's address" and print your address. Right next to this line is a line where the buyer should print their address.
The seller should sign the title on the line that says "Seller's signature." Again, if two people are selling the vehicle, both of their signatures need to fit on this line. Immediately next to this line is a place where the buyer(s) can sign their name(s).
